TOUR IDEA
Day 1:
Meeting with the guide and tour of the Sagrantino WIne road, the true Umbrian wine area. Walking tour of Montefalco, the so called "Balcony of Umbria" for its stunning views, known for its wine, art and history; visit a local wine producer and its property, the winery, the vinification rooms, final guided wine tasting with several types of wine and a plate of local products.
Day 2:
Meeting with the guide and visit of Assisi, World Heritage Site and hometown of St. Francis of Assisi.
Pic-nic lunch in a wine property and wine tasting. Visit of Spello, the City of Flowers, the main church with important frescoes, the archeological roman area. Stop at an olive oil producer, tasting the special umbrian Dop Extravirgin olive oil.
Day 3:
Meeting with the guide, day dedicated to truffle hunting and tour of a gorgeous mountain area. Cheese tasting. Visit of the breathtaking waterfalls, among the highest in Europe.
These tours can be followed by cooking class and/or additional day tours may be added. To be customized
